School Year 3

Year 3 (Lower Key Stage Two) is all about being able to:

Count forwards in multiples of 4, 8 50 and 100

Work out ten or 100 more and less than a number

Recognise the place of a digit – e.g. that “3” in 123 means three-tens

Identify and represent numbers using different methods

Read and write numbers up to 1000 using words and digits

Solve problems using numbers and to understand the underlying ideas
