A useful way to help children secure times tables

One way to help a child secure their times tables is to ask them to call out number sequences.

For example 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and so on…

Of course it gets more difficult when you get to nine…

9, 18, 27, 36, 45 etc

… but under the bonnet (subconsciously, and ability to recall) it helps a child to remember what factors are.
